Bearings for agricultural machinery

Bearing types frequently used in agricultural machines include deep-groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings and tapered roller bearings, as well as, in particular, housing bearing units.

Machines are usually used under rough operating conditions in the agricultural sector. The installed components also have to be able to withstand them.

Tractors, seed drills, harvesters, pesticide spraying implements and soil tillage implements – when out in the field, this equipment has to withstand mud, dust, corrosion, vibrations and external mechanical influences. Climate parameters such as huge temperature differences, rain or drought need to be taken into account during the development phase. Environmental requirements and cleanliness play a big role here, just like everything else used in food production. This requires roller bearings that work cleanly and efficiently.
